In 1960, the world press was focused on the brutal and mysterious senseless murders of three middle class ladies found dead in Starved Rock State Park in the north central Illinois town of Utica.
On the 50th anniversary of the murders, Steve Stout, author of "The Starved Rock Murders" will discuss his book at Finnegan's Bookstore in Utica. He will review how he documented the facts, and the controversies that still exist about the case to this day.
Finnegan's Bookstore is located near the Illinois River and in sight of Starved Rock State Park.
